The Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) creates a positive business climate that encourages dynamic economic development and sustainable job growth. We advance the state’s economy through financial and technical programs under the leadership of the Governor and Executive Director.
We work hard to grow a resilient economy where everyone not only gets by, but thrives. Our agency consists of 12 divisions and offices that support various industries, regions, and sectors.
Our name is long, so we call ourselves OEDIT (pronounced oh-eh-dit).

Housing Units Supported
Outcome Measure: Support the creation of 5,530 housing units by June 30, 2026.
Jobs Created and Retained in Rural Colorado
Outcome Measure: Support rural communities in creating and retaining 6,300 jobs by June 30, 2026.
Federal and Private Investment
Outcome Measure: Bring $95,800,000 in federal and private investment into the state to support Colorado's knowledge intensive and innovation ecosystems by June 30, 2026.
International Tourism Support
Outcome Measure: Host or attend 200 high impact engagement events that support increasing international visitors into Colorado by June 30, 2026.
